my name is hayleigh ...
I’ve always seen beauty everywhere, even where others might not take a second glance. As a little girl, I would pick bouquets of dandelions and leaves and collect pockets full of rocks I thought were pretty. As I got older, I continued to find the simple, wild, natural beauty to be the most inspiring kind. The Japanese have a word for it - wabi sabi - which roughly translates to an aesthetic of appreciating beauty that is imperfect and impermanent in nature.
Capturing those perfectly imperfect moments is what drove me to first pick up a camera, but human connection is what has kept me inspired all these years. I believe I was put on this Earth to notice and document those tiny moments that tell your story.
Although I’m a nomad at heart and love nothing more than traveling around to document your wildest adventures, the one place that has always felt like home to me is with my boyfriend Gabriel. When I’m not being your favorite third wheel, you can usually find us down by the beach with a couple High Noons and our german shepherd, Mac.
I can’t wait to get to know your story too, and I’d be so honored to play a small part in helping you tell it.

What inspires me
With every wedding and every shoot, I see the world in a new way. Your story will be different from the last, and that is what fuels my passion again and again.
Photography started for me as a way to slow time down. I’ve always been drawn to real connection, the kind you feel more than you see, and I wanted a way to preserve it. What began as curiosity quickly became purpose. Telling stories that are honest, emotional, and deeply personal. Every shoot feels new to me because no two people love the same way, move the same way, or show up the same way.
My style is relaxed, cinematic, and a little moody, with an emphasis on emotion over perfection. I will guide you when needed but always leave room for moments to unfold naturally. I bring a calm presence, an eye for the in between, and a belief that the best photos are the ones that feel like you. I am not here to recreate trends. I am here to document your story as it truly is.
These photos are not just for today. They are for the years ahead. For anniversaries and coffee table books. For future generations who want to see what your love looked like and how it felt. My goal is to give you images that bring you right back to the laughter, the nerves, and the joy every single time you look at them.

I love baking something sweet, getting lost in a good book with a big glass of sauvvy b, crocheting while half-watching a true crime documentary, and going on long walks with no real destination. I am a sucker for a good sunset, a well-told mystery, and pretending to be type A while absolutely embracing the chaos. These little things shape the way I see the world and the way I photograph it, always chasing warmth, honesty, and moments that feel real.
I loveeee a thrift store or scrolling for entirely too long on Facebook Marketplace (send me your funky finds if you love me). I’m endlessly curious, a little messy, and fiercely loyal to the people and things I love. I thrive on laughter, genuine connection, and the kind of little joys that make everyday feel like a story worth capturing.

When I’m behind the camera, I’m not just capturing images, I’m capturing the little sparks that make your story yours. I notice the quiet glances, the silly laughs, and the moments that feel like they only exist for you two. I love getting to know my couples, teasing out their personalities, and turning the genuine, messy, joyful moments into something you’ll want to relive again and again. I’m part cheerleader, part mischief-maker, and all about creating a space where you can be yourselves, feel beautiful, and maybe even fall a little more in love while I capture it.
I’m a guided documentary photographer, which means you don’t need to know exactly what to do in front of the camera. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, but mostly I let things unfold naturally. The magic happens in the in-between moments, the quiet laughter, the stolen glances, and the sparks that can’t be staged. My job is to catch it all, so you can just be yourselves and enjoy the ride.

I care just as much about the vibe as I do the beautiful details. I want everything to feel right in the moment and for you to feel comfortable and at ease. I will never interrupt something meaningful just to make it a “better” photo. Real life always comes first. My priority is making sure you’re having a really good time with me, feeling calm, supported, and fully present on your wedding day. That said, I am a total sucker for thoughtful styling, a stunning dress, a beautifully set table, and helping you choose outfits that feel so you.
I’ll absolutely pose you, but in a very candid, natural way. I love stepping back when it feels right and letting you be yourselves, because that’s where the best moments happen. And yes, I promise I’ll guide you the whole way.
