Hosted at her uncle’s stunning Mobile, Alabama estate, their wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and heartfelt intimacy. As an interior designer, her uncle created a home that feels effortlessly refined, with soaring windows, classic architecture, lush gardens, and thoughtfully curated spaces that made every corner worthy of a photograph.

Hidden beneath a canopy of towering oaks, guests gathered for an intimate outdoor ceremony that felt almost like discovering a secret garden. The natural beauty of the property allowed every detail to shine without ever feeling overdone. From the colorful spring florals to the quiet moments shared inside the home, every part of the day felt intentional and deeply personal.

One of my favorite parts of documenting Caroline and Andrew’s wedding was how seamlessly the day unfolded. There was no pressure to rush from place to place. Instead, they spent the day surrounded by the people they love most, soaking in every hug, every laugh, and every quiet moment together before beginning their next chapter as husband and wife.

The estate itself offered endless inspiration. Soft window light poured into the home for timeless bridal portraits, while the gardens created the perfect backdrop for emotional moments throughout the ceremony. It was elegant without feeling formal and luxurious without losing the warmth that only a family home can provide.

As a documentary wedding photographer, these are the weddings I love most. Rather than focusing only on perfect portraits, I want to preserve the feeling of the day. The anticipation before the ceremony, the way family members looked at one another, the conversations that happened between events, and the little moments that often become the biggest memories years later.
